1. Check the current software version of your handsfree unit. For this purpose switch on the carkit and select Menu -->Info.



2. Check the software information.



3. If you start the software update procedure in your car, make sure that the Blue Compact is switched off. Otherwise the update program will not start.
4. Download the corresponding software.

5. Unpack the file with the updating firmware to any selected directory into your PC.
6. Insert the Blue Compact CD into the CD drive.
7. Connect the programming cable to your PC USB socket and connect it to the Blue Compact screen plug. The reprogramming plug is located at the bottom of the screen, under the rubber cover. The following window will appear on your PC screen.



8. Follow the instructions for the driver’s installation.
9. Select "No, not this time" in the below window and click "Next".


10. Click on the checkbox "Install the software automatically (Recommended)".



11. The system should find the information about the connected device or you can indicate the Blue Compact CD location and select the folder "Drivers". Select the file "pt6125.Inf".
12. Run the hf4v2_burner.exe program that is located in the folder "Drivers". The below window will appear.



13. Click on the button "Browse" next to the item "Code".
14. Select the HEX file with firmware when the corresponding window is open and click "Open".



15. Click on the "Burn" button. The program update process will start automatically accordingly.

Note: If the message window "Device open error" appears please click on the "Burn" button once again. If it doesn’t help, please try to reconnect the programming cable and click on the "Burn" button again.



16. As soon as the software update process is finished, close the program window and disconnect the cable from the screen unit.
